Daniel S. Plessl, M.D.

Dr. Daniel Plessl is a Harvard-trained sports medicine doctor specializing in musculoskeletal care for all types of patients, from weekend warriors to young athletes. He provides both surgical and nonsurgical treatment for bone, joint, muscle, and sports-related injuries. His expertise includes minimally invasive shoulder, knee, and hip repair, shoulder replacement, and fracture care. Dr. Plessl completed a fellowship in sports medicine at Harvard Medical School and earned his medical degree from Virginia Tech Carilion. He partners with patients to create individualized treatment plans and enjoys staying active through fishing, hiking, and sports. Dr. Plessl is available for consultations in Vero Beach.
