Rising from an old citrus grove, the course at Pointe West was developed in 1999. Golf course architect John Sanford had a vision for a uniquely sculpted course, and countless tons of earth were moved to create elevated tees, elevated landing areas, peaks in fairways and elevated greens. Striking bunker complexes were created to highlight subtle mounding and some unique features were incorporated to extenuate several “risk/reward” situations. Most notably the 18th fairway is traversed by a water feature just short of the green making for an exciting moonlighting finishing hole. We're known as a favorite country club in Vero Beach, FL.
